#23. It's okay to cry and feel bad for cats yang mati tengah jalan, Ebby. I pun dah banyak kali tengok kucing mati kena langar.. dah lali. Even my cats pun ade yang mati on our own drive way. I ran over a cat before. A female pregnant cat that's due in a couple of days. Suspected ade about 3 little kittens in her tummy. She tak mati on the spot, instead she manage to ran about 20 steps before she collaped and died with her unborn babies. I cried then. isk.. banyak kali kucing I kena langar. Remember the story about Barry yang mati kena put to sleep tu? He used to have nice bushy tail. Got cut off cause my dad ran over his tail. Another female cat, pregnant, named TIARA, got ran, my driver was behind the wheels. She died on the spot. Dengar kata my driver menangis. Kesian pakcik. Kesian TIARA cause she's known as the biggest "bitch" on the block. Mana tak, anak baru about 1 month old, dia dah gatal cari pakwe lain. I kena kurung dia dalam bathroom so that she'll feed her babies. Isk.. I miss that cat.

#21. my cat yang mati sbb sakit tuh umur dia 7 tahun. before i blah gi balik UM, I patted him, dia diam aja and baring dalam kotak. i tokleh nampak kucing mati especially kena langgar tgh2 jln tuh or else i'll cry, tak kisahlah kucing sapa. ada sekali tu kucing cam gateway bulu dia (hitam putih) kena langgar in front of me and i screamed like hell! pastu terus angkat dia bawak gi tepi jln, and my friend kata biarkan aja dia kat situ. i can see cam dah terputus2 napas dia. masa itulah my friends tau i tokleh tgk kucing mati so now nih kalau ade aje ternampak diaorg akan make up story itu biawaklah, mengkarung lah, apa apa aja. sometimes tak perasan. tapi bila perasan tu mulalah meleleh2 air mata. adoi...sunyinya rumah bila balik, my beLoved pets dah takda.

#20. oh yes, lupa jugak nak cakap kat sini yang my house kan banyak sangat kucin mati!
after the cute cat belakang pintu dapor tu, a few weeks after that ada 3 kittens tumpang lepak kat my house (selalu pikir kenapalaaa kucin suka lepak rumah I!!)..
one morning mom nak gi kejer, started the car and *vroommmmmmm* keluar drp gate, and i saw some blood on the floor!
rupanya Mom dah langgar sekor anak kucin, I nangis cuz tak sanggup tengok + kesian..
The other 2 siblings of the dead kitten came to the poordeadone meow meow here and there and eat it!!!!!!!!!
yucks!
Cruel world.
Mom is cruel too. Mom suka seksa domestic animals esp tikus, but nasib baik dia sayang all my hamsters. Phew.

#19. OMG, Jae! Your story is sooooo funny!! How could you not notice the kucing is already dead? Takde bau ke? Hehe. You know, rasa sedih baca everyone's story pasal kucing mati. Linda sampai nangis tulis pasal Barry. Sabar je lah. I think it's painful to lose anything/anyone that we love. But it's hakikat hidup kan. So we cannot run away from death.

I think having pets is cool; they can teach you so much about responsibility. I personally regard Baby macam my naughty daughter, only furrier and shorter, heh.

#18. Well Fairy, talking bout dead cats and things related to that *heh* i got one experience with a dead cat.
Macam ni, one midnite, i was washing the dishes and pintu dapur tu bukak, and this cute cat kesukaan ramai (alley cat) duduk tepi pintu dapur tu. So ok, i went to him and pok pok dia, comel sangat this cat, tak der tuan pun..+ selalu datang rumah..
An hour after that, dah habis basuh pinggang mangkuk + kemas dapur, nak tutup pintu dapur tapi kucin tu tanak bergerak, i tried pushing him slowly tapi dia buat muka sedih + monyok. poor catty. pastu nak tak nak terpaksa gak tolak dia pelan-pelan so that i could close the kitchen's door.
Esoknya,(panjang lak cerita saya!heh) pagi, nak masak; bukak pintu dapoq, tengok that same kitty ader lagi, I usap-usap dia, muka dia nampak sedih jer...
Hours after that lepas dah breakfast+lunch+tea=kenyang, I pun rasa weird sebab kucin tu ada lagi kat situ duduk style sama je..
"apa kener laa mamat kucin ni," asked myself.
I usap-usap kucin tu "you like lepaking here,eh kitty?" heh I cakap kat dia..
late evening, Mom got back home, preparing for dinner, the cat's still there..kitorang siap usap usap lagi dia untuk kali ke berapa tah..
Lepas dinner, my brother nak tutup pintu and since my bro ni cruel sangat dia tolak je kucin tu ngan kaki,
pastu dia rasa pelik sebab kucin tu keras semacam, pergi belek kucing tu rupanya dah mati!!!
My mom punya kawan is a vet, dia kasi tau kucin tu mati drp semalam lagi, kener poison.
hmm...

#17. Dulu at one time our family had 19 cats & kittens to take care off. Tapi tinggal 3 ekor aje. Most of them mati either kena langar kereta or dieases. Sorry mazuen, kalau dulu memang banyak anak kucing. Comel2 belaka.

#15. "WEEKKK!!!"" (
Mana tak I menangis gila babi, I jaga Barry since he was a little kitten. I brought him out to this world. Masa his mother in labor of 7 kittens, I tunggu and jadi bidah for 5 hours. Keluarkan anak kucing satu satu. 1st, I'll lap the small tiny noses, then potong tapi pusat with a clean scissor. Then suap kan the "uri" to the mother. They say, kalau mak kucing makan uri, that's connected to the kitten, the mother will love the kitten endlessly. As you see, masa I balik KL in summer 2000, kot tak ingat, I must pergi jenguk all my cats in their cats' quarter (macam kandang kucing tapi besar sangat, boleh masuk, duduk and main dengan kucing). At that time, I saw Barry in his individual kandang. He saw me, remembered me. I approached the cage, usually all my cats would bangun if I apporach their cage, but not Barry. So I wondered. Patted him and started to smell a stinking smell. It came from him. I panically took him in my arms and he started to cry (meowing). I belik dia depan belakang and I saw that both his legs tak working. Touch them gently and Barry moaned again in pain. There and there I knew something was wrong. So the next day I pergi vet (depan rumah aje) brought Barry along. The doc said that Barry has to stay in the ward, till they found out what's wrong with him. Like 3 days after, I got a call from the vet, said that Barry is totally paralyzed from bottom up and he has some bacterial disease, almost like AIDS . So the doc said there's no chance for him to get well. Suggested to put him to sleep. This is where Fairy's story came. We went to the vet the next day, before I signed the paper, I took my last look @ Barry. There he was in his little cage, baring and layu. I patted him on the head and he angakt kepala.. wait! he angkat his kepala when the doc said his paralyzed! Still the doc kata, tak de chance for him to survive with the diease. So dengan berat hati I signed the paper. Left the vet, and as I was walking back home, Barry's mother greeted me at the gate, saw me crying my eyes out. I patted Fable(this is where I got my nick name from) and told her that her last child is going to be put to sleep. Jangan ingat Fable tak paham ape I cakap, cause she ran off as if to conceal her lost of her baby cat. Barry died at the age of 9 years old. I took care of him for 9 years. And he had to goooooo...

#14. Kalau nak bela skunk ni Mat Jan, usually the owners dah hantar menatang tu pegi vet and the doctors will surgically remove the scent gland yang contain the infamous skunk odor. We were surprised to learn that as well, thinking that the owners were crazy enough to bear the skunks' bad smell.

Ha, kalau bab belajar ASP ni I encourage habis. I gave up on PERL long time ago, so leceh lah. ASP senang sikit nak belajar, much simpler syntax.

Ebb I truly believe in your words, that when your cat dies, dia tak nak mati depan2 you. Kalau boleh mati kat tempat lain. I learned this from Linda really sebab dia byk kucing kat Malaysia, so she tells me that she's had a few missing cats tapi tak tau apa cerita. So assume mati je. Walau apa pun Ebb, I feel the loss of your cat and am sorry. I pernah witness kucing mati, but not really lah. Masa tu Linda kena hantar her one cat Barry to the vet sebab dia ada infection, then we found out dia paralyze. Linda had to sign the papers to allow the doctor to put Barry to sleep. Linda dengan berat hati sign paper tu and cried. Kononnye Barry tu lost all his nerve endings and cannot physically feel a thing, but when Linda pet him for the last time, Barry angkat kepala dia and responded, acknowledging Linda's touch. Adehhh.. sedihssss sangat masa tuh, when I dengan Linda melangkah keluar office vet tu.

#12. first, my cat named Comel died (lost, org kata kucing perliharaan mmg tanak mati dlm rumah). Then tak lama lepas tu, my beloved cat yang even my mom pun dh panggil dia her 5th son kena langgar, lebam badan, kaki satu tak dpt jln. tak blh kencing sendiri, i ada 2 hari berturut2 tak tido mlm jaga dia. my mom bagi dia ubat, susu, antibiotik but like i said, dia pun nak lari dr rumah sampailah my mom tutupkan pagar dgn kotak. last day he was alive it was rained heavily, i terkujat dr tido tgk dia duduk aja atas simen biar hujan basahkan dia, quickly keringkan dia n masukkan dalam kotak tempat dia rehat. before blah to UM on that day, I usap kepala dia, dia pandang aja tapi suara tak kuar dah. on the same night, my lil sis call and told me "Along, dia dah mati" and i cried like hell. menyesal balik hari tu jugak. but a close friend of mine ckp yang dia maybe tanak mati in front of me.

even now i still miss both of them. kesian my mom dah takde member kalau sorang2 kat rumah.

#10. Ok, siapa yang allergic with cats can try having a skunk as a pet. Semalam, Fairy and me, we're watching Animal's Plate on TV and they had skunks competition where the owners bawak the skunks to win. Just like the cats competitions. Wow, macam2 dah sekarang. Skunk, snakes, Siberian cub. About this Siberian cub, there this owner, bawak it for monthly medical check-up @ a vet. Usually kalau kucing, they only need one person to hold a kucing dowm on the gurney bila the doc nak inject. But this siberian cub needs 4 persons to hold it down on the floor. Haha.. next thing you know,tapir pulak yang kena pergi medical check-up. Kan syafizan?

Nak dengar cerita kelakar kat kelas I hari tu, remember my story pasal budak bawak anjing dia masuk kelas? Well this one girl sat next to me and brought a cuteeeeeeeeee bulldog puppy, small lil' fella! Geram. Tapi nama dia "Lola" (*nyanyi* "Her name was Lola.. she was a showgirl..!") But man, I couldn't resist patting the little thing, geram, macam nak gigit jer. Tapi mata dia, biasalah nama juga bulldog, macam katak ok. Bulging out like mad. But so cute.. *sigh*

#6. fairy, sampaikan ucapan takziah aku kepada keluarga si mangsa (the ikan). semoga keluarga ikan tersebut tabah mengharungi liku² dugaan hidup yang mendatang.

aku pun allergic ngan kucing, mesti bersin kalau ada kucing. kalau pegi rumah orang, walaupun tak nampak kucing, aku boleh tau yang rumah tu ada bela kucing sebab hidung aku dapat kesan. ada sensor yang ultra sensitif.

masa aku kecik² dulu, aku teringin nak bela ikan. so ayah aku beli akuarium, dia isi ikan emas dan macam² ikan. mula² aku rajin aaa bagi makan dan cuci akuarium. lama² dah boring... aku berenti. dan ayah aku kena ambik alih tugas tersebut.

lepas tu satu hari, aku balik rumah tengok akuarium dah takder. ayah aku dah bagi kat uncle aku. dan aku tak rasa sedih pun.

hmm, sekarang aku rasa macam nak bela tapir.

I'm glad that you love BABY, Farah. I remembered the 1st time she came to this house. You're sitting on the swing out on the porch, me begging you to accept her. Kata tak you tak nak jaga her, all her shit you tak nak kutip. Don;t want her to be in your bed room. Kick and kutuk her when she did something. BUT all that has changed.
