This man made me shamelessly swoon that night - I had waited literally 11 years to see Ari Lasso perform live! Ari sang three songs, two of which from his Dewa glory days - Elang and Kangen.

For nostalgia sake, here's a memorabilia of him from my personal collection, sealed with an autograph.

so impressed with ur website well done!!!really nice pictures u hv here...flew from kuching just to witness the "biggest "event of the year ...."gila tak pergi"...u r right bout the crowd...credit to adaband (the best opening act.. ) padi, gigi & dewa for their first class performance..by the way fairy..do u hv any idea how to get vcd or dvd copy of this concert as so far there is no indication from the organiser to release vcd or dvd of this concert...

hi fairy, a long lurker in ur site but only now i wana post as i had been to PMI.

i went there with my ex-varsity mates. our strength was 10 (staying in a group is better for protection again those human pyramids hehe). we were in the rm ticket section n hey we do mingle with the indonesians crowd. yeah they were times when they are rowdy but wat unites us was the music. n the best part my frens get a number out of an indonesians chick! not the pembantu rumah but a student here peeewit!

i do concur with you that the MC for dat day was a let down. the intermission between bands was so long. n the MC are not making a very god job as a filler in entertaining the crowd. n wat is the crude joke made by sarah? cut the crap n give us music pls..

anyway thumbs up for the sound system dat day. the let down was lack number of toilets n food stall? haha

i do get wet but not squished. lucky wore shorts, tee n a teva sandal. the mud did not hamper me down!..

PATTY: I came about 2 hours late, hence I missed taking photos of the first two bands, Ungu and Ada Band. There's a good reason why. Maybe I'll update MyIndo.com with that story some day.
