The Interesting Postmark on the UN Postcard

While visiting a friend and his new baby last Saturday, I noticed a blue postcard with the United Nations logo pinned to his corkboard.
Firdaus told me that he had sent himself the postcard when he was stationed in New York for work. I in turn had this raging curiousity to read what was behind the postcard.

Everything seemed ordinary enough, until I spotted the rather righteous postmark located near the stamp area.
But hey, I'm all out for extinction of terrorists, man. Even if it means embracing an eccentric postal mark to get the message across.

Dusyum, there's nothing narcissistic about wanting to send yourself a memento, IMHO. How often does one get to send themselves postcard from the UN Post Office anyway.

| i was at the UN Post office in Geneva early this year, and had to same thought (mailing to myself in Malaysia). but i did not as it would appear narcissistic of me.. they stamp it as United Nations - they also have their own UN stamp. |
